Job Summary:
Manage the programming activities for a global project following internal guidelines, responsible for all project level programming.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
1. Act as lead Statistical Programmer for assigned projects and take a programming leadership role on the project team.
2. Develop and comply with project / study standards and specifications following internal and regulatory guidelines.
3. Oversee programming style, quality of contributions and compliance with timelines.
4. Provide input and lead sections of submissions in coordination with Statistician.
5. Ensure that documents and specifications are consistent and comply with company standards by providing input into study protocol, (e)CRF and data structures.
6. Program, according to specifications, analysis datasets, pooled datasets, listings, tables, and figures for phase I-IV clinical trials and for ISS and ISE with high quality and within milestones.
7. Ensure quality control and quality audit of deliverables.
8. Maintain records for all assigned projects and archive trial / project analysis and associated documentation.
9. Participate in or lead process improvement initiatives and non-clinical project activities.
Essential Skills & Capabilities:
Educated to degree level with 5-8 years experience in a programming role supporting clinical trials in the pharmaceutical industry.
Expert knowledge of / experience with SAS software.
Good understanding of global clinical trial practices, procedures, methodologies.
Good understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to SR (e.g., GCP, ICH).
Ability to supervise others.
