Thanks, Max, I've bookmarked that. All I know, being a humble patient, is
that my docs thought to test for vitamin D levels and - voila - I was found
to have 'severe' deficiency levels. So I will have to have injections over
a six month period after which we will test again. Said docs did explain
that it might have no effect on the symptoms it can be related to. If I
understand these things right, the only way to be sure what was 'normal'
for any individual would involve a DNA profile, genetic disposition being
as important as food or environment (aka English summers -) in this.
