The School of Geography is currently looking to recruit a Research
Assistant based at QMUL (Mile End campus) to work on the following
project funded by the QM Fund for Public Engagement.
Mapping philanthrocapitalism and corporate community engagement in East
London (under the directorship of Alison Blunt, Cathy McIlwaine,
Alastair Owens and Jane Wills).
The overall aim of the project is to identify the main ways in which
corporations and individuals engage with the communities of East London
through various types of corporate social responsibility initiatives.
The post is part-time (0.6) for 16 weeks pro rata (open to negotiation)
starting on 10th September 2012 or as soon as possible thereafter.
