'Digital Storytelling' is an increasingly popular turn of phrase referring to web technologies and digital media being used in creative ways to communicate experiences and meanings to your audience.
This workshop is aimed at anyone who is involved in designing learning activities for others (any level, any subject), where we will demonstrate, discuss and develop your skills by trailing different approaches to both teaching and learning through Digital Storytelling.
This workshop looks at why stories are a powerful and effective way of communicating with an audience. Including learning, publicity and marketing, community engagement and more.
Throughout the session there will be plenty of opportunities to get 'hands on' with the technology, offering you a chance to explore how you might use the technique on your own, as well as encouraging you to share ideas with others.
