The School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Lecturer in Architecture. You should have experience of teaching in Higher Education and have practice and/or research experience in the field of Architecture. We are open about the specific areas of academic and/or professional strength that applicants might have, but we would particularly welcome applicants who can contribute to developing the School's design pedagogy, contribute to the School's world class research, and who can add to its international character.
Teaching will be primarily on the programmes in Architecture. You will be able to lead and deliver core design modules in the B.A. or the M.Arch programmes; engage in programme development and management; collaborate with staff in design, history and theory and technology to develop integrated projects; participate in project reviews and assessment across both the B.A. and M.Arch.; develop and promote links between the School and practice; make contributions to the development of interdisciplinary research and teaching in the School, and to research and publish within their disciplinary expertise at a standard for submission to the REF.
