At Northampton we have an increasing number of international students too, and like you, we struggle to get the pronunciation from the students.

I have had a little look, not sure it has them all on there, but it might help.

Subject: Graduands' names - pronunciation
We at Southampton, like many others, have ever-increasing numbers of international students and we haven't found an effective and efficient way of ensuring we pronounce their names correctly at ceremonies.
We do ask graduands to give us the phonics but we've found that isn't particularly useful as the names that English speakers are likely to find difficult are not given to us, but the ones that are relatively easy do!
We source language speakers within faculties but it's very piecemeal and understandably the language speakers don't want to spend their whole summer coaching Readers....
I'm thinking of trying to compile a glossary and/or tips on pronunciation for the faculties to use so that we don't have to re-invent the wheel each time. I've searched YouTube and while the content is great if you want to learn a language from scratch, it's not specific to names.
Has anyone else come across this problem or can anyone give me ideas of how to overcome this? I'm happy to collate answers.
