Dear BUGS community,
I am attempting to migrate from winBUGS to OpenBUGS. All documentation
I have consulted suggests that code running in the former (via
R2WinBUGS) needs only minor changes to run in the latter. I am getting
the following error message:
> Loading required package: BRugs
> Welcome to BRugs connected to OpenBUGS version 3.2.1
> model is syntactically correct
> Error in is.finite(x) : default method not implemented for type 'closure'
The R code implemented in winBUGS (which works fine) is
results <- bugs (ip.data, ip.inits, ip.parameters,
"model2Dj.irt.txt", n.chains=1,
n.iter=10, n.thin=1, debug=T,
bugs.directory = "c:/Program Files (x86)/WinBUGS14/",
program = c("WinBUGS"))
modified to implement it in OpenBUGS as
results <- bugs (ip.data, ip.inits, ip.parameters,
"model2Dj.irt.txt", n.chains=1,
n.iter=10, n.thin=1, debug=T,
bugs.directory = "c:/Program Files (x86)/OpenBUGS/OpenBUGS321",
program = c("OpenBUGS"))
I also tried loading libraries R2OpenBUGS and BRugs to run this,
without success. The code is
results <- bugs (ip.data, ip.inits, ip.parameters,
"model2Dj.irt.txt", n.chains=1,
n.iter=10, n.thin=1, debug=TRUE,
OpenBUGS.pgm = "c:/Program Files (x86)/OpenBUGS/OpenBUGS321")
and the error I get
> Error in bugs.run(n.burnin, OpenBUGS.pgm, debug = debug, WINE = WINE, :
> Look at the log file in C:/Users/Eric/AppData/Local/Temp/Rtmp8wUw40 and
> try again with 'debug=TRUE' to figure out what went wrong within OpenBUGS.
No log file is saved in that directory.
Any clues will be much appreciated. Thank you.
