Hello all,
I'm currently trying to find articles referencing possible frozen meat cache use by humans (incl neanderthals) in Europe, Eurasia and Siberia. I am also looking for ethnographic data, if it exists (similar to Binford's Nunamiut, but not North America).
At first glance not much seems to be out there, but I'm only searching in English so I'm wondering if there are articles out there in Russian, for instance.
That said, I'm wondering if anyone has the PDF to this article:
http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1571086607800376
Wenzel 2007, Neanderthal presence and behaviour in central and Northwestern Europe during MIS 5e. The Climate of Past Interglacials 7.
It mentions cached goods but I have no idea if they are referring to meat! (Kind of doubt it).
Anyway, thanks all for your help and insights.
