For me, I enjoy the following BBC science podcasts (which are just
downloads of the broadcast radio shows):
- Material World (probably my favourite science show out there)
- More or Less
- Click (formerly Digital Planet)
- Science in Action
- In Our Time (they have specific page for downloads of science related
episodes)
I also enjoy Radio Wales' Science Cafe show.
Outside of the BBC, I do like the Guardian's Science Weekly podcast and
The Skeptic's Guide to the Universe.
There are MANY others which are great, both well known and not so well
known. The main issue is finding the time to listen.

Subject: [PSCI-COM] science podcast love and loathing
Psci-Commers - I'd like to enlist your help if possible.
I'm doing a little science podcast research and just wondered if I could
have your thoughts on what you listen to (if anything - and if nothing -
why not!), what you like, what you don't like etc. Specifically
interested in the bigger names like the Nature podcasts, the Guardian
sci podcast, various BBC sci podcasts, Sci American etc.
Any opinions MOST appreciated.
Replies to me only please ([log in to unmask]) - unless you want
to share with all!
Thanks so much,
Nan
