OK, here we go. Try latest release from r4166 onwards. Now there is a
function (python only):
scale_alt_conf_occ_gui(imol, chain_id, res_no, ins_code)
or a purist function (no gui):
set_alt_conf_occ(imol, chain_id, res_no, ins_code, alt_conf_list)
This can be bound to a toolbutton: right click on the main toolbar->
Manage Buttons. The GUI currently works for 2 alt confs only, the
generic function for more...
There may be some documentation in the python functions...
