Hi,
> How are the ISP's involved doing their filtering of thepiratebay? Perhaps
they are doing it in various ways that are all easily mitigated... they dont care
though as they are only acting on instructions from the courts.
the fact that users are now all clued up and are now using unblockable methods
and the fact that traffic to TPB more than doubled when it got blocked - with more than
12 million new visitors really means it backfired and the music/movie people have
just shot themselves.
..but back on topic:
one of the main problems is with not allowing people to connect if they dont match
a criteria (or the home organisation doesnt like the attributed/statement of the visited
site) - the 802.1X has no message method to the end user.
they just dont connect....get authentication failure...then mess with their config and things
dont work. to them eduroam is broken or has gone wrong... which means that the brand is damaged
