Forge Summer School 2012: Time, Travel and Everyday Life
3rd to 5th September 2012 at the University of York
The Forge Summer School 2012 explores themes of mobility, time, and everyday life. Over two intensive days of presentation, workshops and networking activities, participants will be invited to consider these topics, and the relation between them, from different angles and disciplinary perspectives.
The Summer School is open to PhD students and early career researchers from all disciplines. Fees for attendance are just £120 including accommodation and all catering. This is subsidized by the Economic and Social Research Council.
It is still possible to apply; places are available both for UK-based and international applicants (this should be done as soon as possible though: the Summer School typically has a waiting list and early booking is advised)! To apply, follow the instructions at the website: http://www.its.leeds.ac.uk/theforge/summer-school/
