5 Chair/Reader/Lecturer positions in public policy and health at Durham University (including health policy, health economics, medical sociology, global health policy)
Durham University is seeking to appoint up to 5 new members of academic staff, including Professors/Readers and ‘rising star’ Lecturers, in the broad field of public policy and health. Durham University is a leading research centre in the applied and interdisciplinary study of health and wellbeing. A unifying theme of our research is improving health and health systems, and reducing health inequalities. Appointments are open across the wide field of public policy and health, but successful appointees are likely to have strong research track records in one of the following areas: social or spatial epidemiology, public policy and health, health economics, medical sociology or anthropology, education and health, global health policy, or health psychology. Appointed staff will be fellows of the Wolfson Research Institute for Health and Wellbeing and will also be full members of a relevant academic department (Anthropology, Applied Social Sciences, Education, Geography, Medicine and Health, or Psychology).
