Hi everyone, this sounds like a great idea, but I agree there are already a lot of good online science channels already. Perhaps it is the distribution, services like BBC iPlayer and 4OD are so easily available through my PS3, an app on my phone (incidentally I do have the TED talks app which is a good example, but the interface could be a bit slicker), and on my virgin media box I can access all these services, and on smart tv's you can access all these as well as youtube. Maybe if there was a good vehicle that brought together the best of online science content from all the aforementioned sites, but made it more publicly accessible through your tv by using the same distribution methods as these other services - there's definitely no need to go down the traditional tv channel on satellite route these days as technology is going towards on demand services through your tv. Just my 2p!

Though I think there are more good science channels out there than I realised, I am not sure there is a gap.
