oh yes of course you do... it's funny... I take what we covered in the
film for granted and forget... about 10 months ago I was talking about
some pieces of my visual work to a bunch of painters; and I remarked that
of course this image I was showing them would eventually be performable
and there was a silence and a group fixed stare: the sort of thing that
makes you check your flies or wonder if you've just farted
and not one of them knew what I was talking about. Slightly different to
the trad poet take. This lot feel they can co-opt language, which is fine
by me; but they get quite upset when a poet nicks their paints
