Apologies if you get this twice...

Hi All

Is your instution a user of Blackboard as well as PebblePad? If so, at the Bb Learn Conference last week, one of the senior Bb people indicated that they are considering looking at better integration with external portfolios and mentioned both that they are considering SP10 for a development in this area and that they are looking at both Mahara and PebblePad. I publicly "encouraged" them to focus on PebblePad, rather than Mahara......

Now, we all know Bb talks about things with the usual caveat, but I am also getting increasing messages about Bb listening to its user community and I would just like to suggest that, if you think this is a good thing, you might like to go to http://www.blackboard.com/Contact-Us/Feedback/Suggest-Product-Enhancements/For-Learn.aspx and add your own plea for this (as well as any other development).

I have spoken with several Bb people and I am getting a genuine sense (call me naive) that new blood at Bb in senior positions is actually having an impact on their ability to recognise the importance of the customer's voice. Certainly, we in the UK need to make the UK voice heard and the online Product Suggestion Box is one easy way. The phrase, "bombard the developers with your needs" is one I heard and makes very good sense.....
