That word is used elsewhere only in Chronicon Hildesheimense PL 141), the Gesta Abbatum Trudonensium (PL 173) ,and Testamentum Absalonis Archiepiscopi Lundensis (PL 184), all ir relevant to this context. So all that seems known about the authorship is "Non est sancti Bernardi. Editum tamen est sub eius nomine as Gretsero Ingolstadti, anno 1617, ex bibliotheca Carthusianorum Erefordensium."

_clenodia_ is the plural of _clenodium_. If one searches the Chadwyck-Healey PL using the truncation _clenodi*_ one gets a few more hits. Favre's Du Cange, s.v. <http://ducange.enc.sorbonne.fr/CLENODIUM>, furnishes rather more. As the great majority of these are from German-speaking areas and as most if not all of the remainder are from Sweden (_clenodium_ seems to be a latinization of medieval antecedents of Modern German _Kleinod_ and modern Swedish _klenod_), the word's appearance in the _Soliloquium_ could be useful in eliminating potential candidates for the latter's authorship who hailed from places where German or Swedish were not ordinarily spoken.
