When writing a section on exactly this topic for the Leicester distance
learning course, I found and quoted this source:
Source: Collections Trust Software Survey: SPECTRUM Partners' Systems
(http://www.mda.org.uk/software as of 15 October 2008)
which gave me the information I needed to tabulate the databases used by
the SPECTRUM Partners as of that date. Obviously that URL 404's these
days. I've no idea if an equivalent resource still lurks somewhere on
the CT site ...
