Subject: Language & History May 2012 out now
Dear colleagues,
I'm delighted to let you know that the May 2012 issue of Language &
History is now out – see the contents below. It's a themed issue edited
by Joan Beal and Massimo Sturiale, on Prescriptivism and Pronouncing
Dictionaries. If you've paid your membership to the Henry Sweet Society,
you should find a copy in your letter box soon, if you haven't already.
If you're not paid up, now is the time to contact Deborah Hayden about
it! I've copied her into this message:[log in to unmask]
The so-called November issue is also virtually in press, meaning that it
will be appearing very shortly too.
Best wishes,
Nicola McLelland
