I can't think of anything about the Madrid bombing. But an interesting recent British book relating to 9-11 is Catherine Bruton's 'We Can Be Heroes'. The central character is an English boy whose father had been killed in the 9-11 attacks, when the boy was a toddler.
Another British book relating to terrorism is Annabel Pitcher's 'My Sister Lives on the Mantelpiece' about a boy whose sister had been killed in a fictional terrorist attack, presumably based on the 7/7/2005 London bombings.

I'm working on terrorism in literature, and I was wondering whether you
could recommend some fiction for teenagers on the 9/11/2001 attack in the
USA, and the 3/11/2004 in Spain. I already have some titles for the
American episode, but I cannot come across any book written in English
about the Spanish one. Do you know if there is any? Thank you so much.
