I am not sure about the old linking of SAW and Penfriend. It was always
a bit unstable - it is with the PFXP version I have on this laptop. I
will have a go with the latest version tomorrow. SAW now has its own
built in predictor which is worth a look at.
I agree there is a steep learning curve for creating selection sets but
that's the penalty for flexibility.
