Hi - thanks - yes we discovered that but after clicking on Ancestry print and choosing "image only" - the image appears along with a Print Dialogue box which has to be closed then you can continue with instructions as you've written.
I have no problems with this except it's ludicrously long winded - but the public - are not known for reading instructions we put out for them.

We have the same issue which I have worked round as follows.
Open up ancestry's print window as usual; Go to File, but instead of going to 'Print' go to 'Print Preview'
The Print preview window offers you a single click option (via the icon in the top left of the frame) to change orientation from portrait to Landscape.
Then just click the printer icon .
This seems to produce the right result.
