HEA STEM (MATHS, STATS & OR): PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND EMPLOYABILITY IN UNDERGRADUATE AND POSTGRADUATE MATHEMATICS AND STATISTICS CURRICULA

This workshop will provide an opportunity to discuss professional development and employability within Mathematics and Statistics courses at all levels in higher education.
Presenters will draw on their experiences of engaging undergraduate and postgraduate Mathematics and Statistics students with employability-related activities, embedded in various ways within their courses or programmes of training. Participants will be encouraged to share their own experiences in this area. The workshop will also include the employer's perspective.
All attendees are invited, if they wish, to bring a poster to illustrate how they incorporate innovative approaches to professional development and employability into their degree programmes in Mathematics and Statistics.
