Assistant Records Manager (Schools) – Fixed Term funded up to 31 March 2015
Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council is looking to recruit an Assistant Records Manager. The successful applicant will play a leading role in supporting all of our schools in the borough to manage the information they hold. The main duties of the post will be to provide day-to-day support to schools in matters relating to Records Management and to undertake information audits where necessary, develop retention schedules, file plans, policies, action plans and guidance for schools.
Applicants will need a clear understanding of ISO 15489 and related standards such as BS 10008:2008 and the Lord Chancellors section 46 Code of Practice. You will be confident with the use of IT, able to work to deadlines under pressure and will be willing to travel across the borough as required. A Records Management (or equivalent) graduate you will have the drive and determination to help deliver our future needs and the wider public sector agenda. Newly qualified graduates are welcome to apply
Salary: £19,126 - £27,052 per annum
