The department of astronomy at Stockholm University invites
applications for a postdoctoral researcher.
We are interested in applicants who work in any of the areas in which
the department is active. This includes cosmic reionization, low and
high redshift starbursting and Ly-a emitting galaxies, supernova & GRB
physics & cosmology, star formation & exo-planets, computational
astrophysics. We are part of the Oskar Klein Centre for Cosmoparticle
Physics and the Stockholm Astrobiology Centre. More information about

The department consists of about 10 faculty, 5 postdoctoral associates
and over 20 PhD students. Stockholm is the capital of Sweden and has
an international character. Most Stockholm researchers have an
international background and English is commonly used both at the
department and in daily life.
The successful candidate must have a PhD degree by the starting date.
The position is for a period of 2 years and is available per direct with
a flexible starting date.
