There are two issues here:
1) Private provision of care paid for by the NHS and the damage that does to the NHS and hence to all of us.
2) The quality of the provision and the benefit or harm that does to the recipients and their families.
There is disagreement about (1) both Labour and Conservative/LibDem governments have argued that some private provision is good.
What is the evidence that Virgin does or would provide low quality care?
To raise awareness of Virgin's role in healthcare would not be not easy.
Best wishes and good luck

Dear All
Many people running in the London Marathon are not aware that it is sponsored by VIRGIN and that Branson/ Virgin are currently being awarded very large NHS contracts for the care of the most vulnerable children with mental physical and learning difficulties and mental health problems across the country.
The Marathon would be a good opportunity to raise general awareness about Branson/ SERCO ATOS and stage protests both among runners and observers and get media publicity. Teeshirts, leaflets etc ....could local groups do this....???
