The interesting thing here is not what I say.... I may have a personal
narrative that has an affective force but this cannot be imposed on the
viewer, it seems.
I have become aware of also reading Roland Barthes, Camera Lucida, where
a personal narrative is at the same time, or almost immediately, free
indirect discourse in Barthes writings on photography. Just an
interesting observation, for me, maybe others, too.
