We either use our on-line testing room if not being used for on-line tests, or a laptop in a smaller room but plugged in.

Hi
Since we have the sports hall ,now being rebuild and having to use the common room, both with limited plugs and only so much you can do with extension leads, we only have a limited number of places (max 4, 5 at a push). Anything over and we use the room for Functional skills intermingling the subjects or using e-screens.
Either way no one has ever complained about the typing.
Kind regards
Marjanne

Hi
In the past we have always housed students who have permission to use a word processor for their GCE's in a separate room, however this year I am hoping to be able to put them in the main hall with other students and have their lap top plugged into the mains to prevent battery failure.
Just wondering what other centres do with regard to these students?
Regards
