The CILIP South West Division (formerly CILIP SW branch, CDG West 
Country and CDG Devon and Cornwall) have a vacancy for a Candidate 
Support Officer.

The job description is as follows:

Candidate Support Officer (CSO)

- Offers advice to registered Chartership, Revalidation and 
Certification candidates by telephone, email or letter, or in person
- Arranges and publicises events relevant to the Framework of 
Qualifications
- Ensures correct use and application of CILIP Seal of Recognition
- Collects statistics on activities for submission to the CDG Honorary 
Learning Co-ordinator
- Regularly reports to the CILIP South West Division committee on 
Framework of Qualifications activities in the area
- Attends annual CSO training day
- Liaises with CDG Honorary Learning Co-ordinator, and CILIP 
Qualifications and Professional Development Department

The CSO must be a Chartered member of CILIP and will be part of the 
Member Support Sub-Committee.
