We reviewed and listed recently the majority of freely available DTI packages. At the time of writing the invited review (see below) I was not aware of easy to use and windows-based SPM-based packages that worked on test data sets I have from different scanners including ahigh reolution DTI data set (~1GB). In my opinion, DTIstudio and Trackvis support almost all types of data input (4D, 3D and DICOM-2D) and can also generate analyze-based maps for SPM-based analyses. These packages provide support for data fusion and visualization and tractography and I tested them on data sets requiring ~ 2Gb of RAM (256x256x120 1mm isotropic and 21 encoding oreinations). DTIstudio has also an interface for eddy current corrections based on the AIR package. As far as daat conversion, I would recommend using MRIcro as it has many features to enable data loading and conversion and checking of orientation and fusion.

Subject: [SPM] DTI toolbox.
Hi,
I downloaded SPM DTI toolbox,
Eddy current and motion correction toolbox<http://www.fil.ion.ucl.ac.uk/~smoham/toolboxes/ECandMOCO_toolbox_PROD.zip>
FA-VBS Normalisation toolbox<http://www.fil.ion.ucl.ac.uk/~smoham/toolboxes/FAVBS_normalisation_toolbox.zip>
To download EC MOCO toolbox, follo. was the tips..
The toolbox requires Matlab and SPM8 to be installed on your computer. After downloading the toolbox archive,
extract the files into your SPM working directory. The archive contains a C-file "spm_hist2_z_exp_polyval2.c" which has to be compiled before using.
In order to do this, launch Matlab in your working directory. Start the compilation by entering the command
“mex spm_hist2_z_exp_polyval2.c”
I extracted the zip file in spm8 toolbox and in matlab, typed the command, mex spm_hist2_z_exp_polyval2.c
But it showed the follo.error...
SPM present working directory:
F:\
>> mex spm_hist2_z_exp_polyval2.c
F:\MATLAB\BIN\MEX.PL<http://MEX.PL>: Error: 'spm_hist2_z_exp_polyval2.c' not found.
??? Error using ==> mex at 213
Unable to complete successfully.
Is there any manual available for doing DTI in SPM...
can anyone help me in downloading these files...
Thanks in advance..

Sam Smith
