"nine outstanding scholars" "three professors"
And universities moan about grade inflation at A -levels.
Interesting news though. Someone earlier suggested that it is hard to find
"PEST" jobs. This announcement, and the many others I see here, suggest that
it is a lot easier to get into that domain than to get in science
journalism.

Subject: [PSCI-COM] Nine positions in STEM education available at King's
College London
Dear Colleague
King's College London wishes to appoint nine outstanding scholars to join
our existing group of 12 permanent staff at the Centre for Research in
Education in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (CRESTEM).
The posts, available from September 2012, will be spread equally across
mathematics and science as follows:
- three professors (including one senior professor to lead mathematics and
science education research in the Department of Education & Professional
Studies)
- two readers/senior lectureships
- two junior lectureships
- two post-doctoral research associates
I have a brochure with more details of the posts if you are interested.
Best wishes
Justin
