Dear all:
With OxMetrics 6.2, we found a problem when estimating a simple logit model
which did not occur under previous versions. The estimation seems to be
performed without any problems but the computation of the frequency table
throws the following error:
Runtime error: '[][2] in matrix[39][2]' index out of range
Runtime error occurred in OutputFreqTable(994), call trace:
../logitjd/logitjd.ox (994): OutputFreqTable
../logitjd/logitjd.ox (813): Output
logitjdex.ox (63): Output
D:\OxMetrics6\ox\src\modelbase.ox (506): Estimate
../logitjd/logitjd.ox (600): Estimate
Runtime error: in callback function
The Logit model uses the Finney data and the following code (as generated by
Oxmetrics 6.01):
run_1()
{
// This program requires a licenced version of PcGive Professional.
//--- Ox code for CS( 2)
decl model = new LogitJD();
model.Load("C:\\Program Files\\OxMetrics6\\Ox\\data\\finney.in7");
model.Deterministic(-1);
model.Select(FIX_VAR, {"Constant", 0, 0});
model.Select(Y_VAR, {"vaso", 0, 0});
model.Select(X_VAR, {"Lrate", 0, 0});
model.Select(X_VAR, {"Lvolume", 0, 0});
model.SetModelClass(LogitJD::MC_BINARY);
model.SetSelSample(1, 1, 39, 1);
model.SetMethod(M_LOGIT);
model.Estimate();
delete model;
}
main()
{
run_1();
}
In addition, when trying to execute this code in Ox, the following error
message shows up:
D:\temp\OxBatch_2.ox : Link error: failed to open
'packages/autometrics/autometrics'
and, indeed, the import file seems to be missing; in the whole OxMetrics6
folder, not a single file containing 'autometrics' in its name is found.
Thanks in advance for any hint.
With best regards,
Bernhard
