BSA Sociology of Health and Illness Book of the Year
The BSA Sociology of Health and Illness Book of the Year is now accepting nominations for the 2012 prize. The nomination deadline is Friday 30 March 2012.
The prize of £1,000 is awarded annually at the BSA Medical Sociology Group Annual Conference <http://www.britsoc.co.uk/events/medsoc.htm> to the author(s) or editor(s) of the book making the most significant contribution to medical sociology/sociology of health and illness and having been published over the three years preceding the 1st January of the year in which the award is made, i.e. January 2009 to December 2011 for the 2012 prize.

The winner will be announced at the BSA Medical Sociology Annual Conference, which will take place at University of Leicester from the 5 - 7 September 2012. For more details on this event please see http://www.britsoc.co.uk/events/medsoc.htm
