I would like to imgaine that there are a lot more Roman drains yet to be discovered. It is my opinion the the Romans were quite adept in water engineering to the point of fetishness.

Subject: [BRITARCH] Longest pre-industrial Drain
Roman Bath had a 400m drain in a tunnel, then .... apparently nothing until we get municipal sewerage, canal tunnels and other similar features.
Was it really the longest water tunnel until the industrial revolution?
Can anyone think of any other similar long drains or perhaps water tunnel supplies that pre-date the industrial revolution?
