Prof Paul Crowther, primarily to support the HST programme ' A Massive
Star Census of the Starburst Cluster R136' which seeks to construct
the mass function of very massive stars within this young, rich star
cluster via a comprehensive census of the central parsec of R136 at
ultraviolet and optical wavelengths with the STIS instrument. The
project is complemented by two ongoing related surveys, the VLT/FLAMES
Tarantula Survey (ESO) and Proper Motions of Massive Stars in 30
Doradus (HST).
