Postgraduate Research Bursaries: Department of Drama: Theatre,
Film, Television. Deadline: 4 May 2012
Two bursaries, each valued at a £2000 fee-waiver, are available for
postgraduate research applicants (M.litt/PhD or M.Phil), one in Film and/or
Television and one in Theatre/Performance. Any topic will be considered and
the bursaries are open to any PGR applicant. Bristol graduates and those
currently studying at the Department of Drama: Theatre, Film, Television
on taught Masters programmes are particularly encouraged to apply,
provided they have been accepted for PGR study commencing Oct 2012.
Candidates who already have a place to study commencing 2012 who have
indicated that they wish to be considered for a University of Bristol
scholarship will automatically be considered for a bursary.

MeCCSA is the subject association for the field of media, communication and cultural studies in UK Higher Education. Membership is open to all who teach and research these subjects in HE institutions, via either institutional or individual membership. The field includes film and TV production, journalism, radio, photography, creative writing, publishing, interactive media and the web; and it includes higher education for media practice as well as for media studies.
