We mainly use regressions, not correlations. You would need to define more clearly what your precise questions are, e.g. what you mean by regional connectivity. In general, your clinical score will be a single number (I suspect) per subject. So in order to analyse this you would use the connectivity analysis of your choice (e.g. melodic followed by dual regression) and then add your clinical score as a regressor for the final 'randomise' between-subject analysis.
