Dear all,
My name is Arzu Güler and I am doing my PhD in the Department of International Relations at Bilkent University in Ankara/Turkey.
I have been writing my dissertation since two years and focus on the UNHCR's strategy of prevention and solution, questioning its effectiveness on behalf of refugees. Thus, I am very interested in the topics of
assessment of regime effectiveness, states' compliance with the basic principles and norms of the international refugee regime and implementation of the UNHCR's strategy in terms of providing durable solution to the forced displacement through 'voluntary' repatriations and prevention of the new mass flows.
I am very glad to participate to this honored group.
Best wishes,
Arzu Güler
