I also have RSS feeds set up to the RDA Toolkit blog which is quite useful.
People might find that there are specific blogs relevant to their place of work as well - for example I have an RSS feed to Ex Libris initatives, because we are a Voyager library, to JISC, to our library digital collections blog etc. I tend to skim read daily, but find having all these in one place (Google Reader for me) is helpful for picking up information.

Just to answer David's question yesterday about finding cataloguing blogs to follow, a great place to start for anyone not already aware of it is Planet Cataloging: http://planetcataloging.org/
It's a very useful aggregation of the many cataloguing/metadata-related blogs out there. It can be a one-stop shop to just view recent posts or you can use it to identify blogs that focus on the specific areas you're interested in. There are a huge number of of cataloguing blogs, ranging from very informal to extremely technical and everything in between so Planet Cataloging will let you see a range and then you can choose the follow the ones that particularly suit your needs.
