Britain's national company for contemporary dance requires:
CATALOGUING ARCHIVIST (1 year fixed term, F/T)
DIGITISATION ARCHIVIST (6 months fixed term, F/T or 12 months P/T)
Rambert Dance Company owns one of the most complete dance archives in the UK, dating back to the foundation of the Company in 1926. Rambert Moves: Unlocking the Passion is a transformational project to catalogue, conserve and increase access to the Archive in preparation for our move to new headquarters on London's South Bank in 2013.
We are seeking two qualified archivists to catalogue the Rambert Dance Company Archive and, if there is time, the additional deposited small collections (one post) and to catalogue and digitise the AV collection (one post).
These are amongst number of project roles we will be recruiting over the next few months: Digitisation Volunteers, Costume Conservator, and Archive Learning Manager.
