Dear all,
If you haven't done so already, please forward this e-mail on to anyone outside the School who may be interested in attending.

Dear colleagues,
We would like to draw your attention to our workshop, at which we will present some findings from a recent project on African street level health workers (street-sweepers, hygiene inspectors, toxicologists, field-workers, HIV volunteers....). We will summarise pre-circulated papers and try to engage a conversation with Professor Doreen Massey, one of Britain's most recognised geographers and social thinkers.
This event is funded by the Wellcome Trust.
The workshop is of potential interest to all studying urban issues and public health in Africa, as well as those with an interest in urban space, citizenship, democracy, and post-colonialism.
Everyone, including students, are very welcome to attend! To register please e-mail [log in to unmask] . Visit our web-site at http://aab.lshtm.ac.uk .
With best wishes,
Wenzel Geissler
