Select Statistics are looking for a number of freelance consultants to join their team.
Select Statistics is a full service statistical consultancy company offering statistical research, advice and training as well as software development, data collection and management services. We are currently looking to recruit a number of freelance statistical consultants and welcome applicants with a strong track record in one or more of our main service areas.
It is expected that most freelance consultants will already be in full or part-time employment, but will have sufficient spare time to devote to freelance work either on a regular basis or for short continuous and pre-determined periods e.g., during University holidays. Independent statistical consultants are also very welcome to apply.
Freelance consultants can be involved in any aspect of our operations and will be able to choose areas and activities that they wish to focus on. For example, some freelancers may wish to be involved only in short-term research projects whilst others might wish only to provide training courses. Any combination of activities is perfectly acceptable and preferences and availability can be altered as circumstances change.
Rates of pay can vary by project, but all potential freelancers will be asked to specify their preferred rates in their application. Freelance projects will generally be offered competitively and will always be awarded to the consultant offering the best value for the client taking account of their skills and experience.
Full training will be given to all of our freelance consultants at our state of the art office complex in Exeter. Central administrative support will be provided, as well as assistance with project specification, report writing and presentations. All projects will be managed and reviewed by Select staff before presentation to the client.
The deadline for applications is midday on Friday 23rd March. For more information, visit our web site (http://www.select-statistics.co.uk) or email Annette Ladbrook, [log in to unmask]
