Dear SPM experts,
I was looking for some references regarding the reason why Finite Impulse Response was used in some fMRI experiments. Specifically, what is the advantage or disadvantage of Finite Impulse Response compared to HRF. I did find some related papers but they are too technical rather than from a perspective of cognitive neuroscience experimental design. Can anyone recommend papers which explain what kind of theoretic issues, or cognitive process or experimental design can benefit from using Finite Impulse Response in fMRI data analysis instead of using HRF? Thank you!
Sincerely,
Veda
