Dear friends,
Some of you know me very well, and to some I am just "Sarah and Jim's daughter." Whichever you may be, I am asking each and every one of you to help in any way you can with a project I am currently involved with:
This year, I have been working to support the Uganda Community Libraries Association, a network of rural village libraries around Uganda. The association has applied to a grant which, if won, will be used to finish building a library in a Northwestern district of the country.
HERE'S THE CATCH. To win this grant, we must obtain as many votes as possible by February 29th. The project with the most votes by then wins the money, and the first place project currently has almost 1,000 votes. So I am asking each and every one of you to take 30 seconds to vote, and then share the link with as many people as possible - friends, family, colleagues, schools, your facebook walls, the more the merrier!
Voting is super easy - just go to http://sunsuperdreams.com.au/dream/view/help-build-a-rural-library-in-uganda and click "vote"! You need to give your email, but they won't use it or send junk mail, it's just to keep track of who has already voted. (This means that those of you with multiple emails can vote once with each of them!)
I hope you will all take a minute for this incredibly worthy cause, so we can get the word out!
Much obliged,
Lily Hertling
