Dear FSL experts,
Is it possible to run MCFLIRT in "parallel mode"? What I mean by that is to launch MCFLIRT and when the program starts aligning all the individual volumes to the reference using FLIRT, to do multiple parallel calls, so that all those processes are executed in parallel.
I guess one cheap option would be to create your reference file (from the mean of the timeseries, or whatever) and then split the time series into multiple smaller ones, and run MCFLIRT multiple times, once per sub-series. I guess that then, with a little programming, one could re-name the matrices (if needed) accordingly and put them all in the same folder, and concatenate the outputs...
Could this feature be added to future releases?
Thanks a lot in advance,
-Pablo
