At the recent Leonardo exhibition at the National Gallery they had a massive QR code advertising iPhone app outside and on scanning it went very quickly to the relevant app page. Unfortunately it required >20MB and therefore would only install over wifi or cable, neither of which were offered in Trafalgar Square. An exciting experience quickly became bitter.
