Hello,
Our academics at QMUL are generally asking whether bibliographies from EndNote can be exported into Talis Aspire. I found out how to import bookmarks from EndNote desktop and EndNote web into Talis and I made some quick videos (no sound). Here they are if someone out there had not discovered how to do it already:
Desktop -
http://www.screencast.com/t/J8fPpkgD5ok
Web -
http://www.screencast.com/t/BFSorpoAos1
The key point seems to be to open the text file (exported by EndNote) as a WordPad file and then save it by adding '.ris' without deleting the 'txt.' extension, so the fine name becomes 'filename.txt.ris'. Only then does Talis import recognise it as an RIS file and accepts to import it.
Best wishes,
Mehves
