The Garden of Reason Contemporary Art Exhibition: New Curators programme


The National Trust is offering an exciting opportunity for young
people(with an interest in programming and curating) to learn about and
then manage a live event as part of its contemporary art programme at
Ham House in Richmond. 

The Young Curators programme will offer twelve 18-24 year olds the
opportunity to:

Collaborate in the curation and production of an exciting live event
celebrating Ham House & the Garden of Reason
Learn about the rich and vibrant history of the property
Receive mentoring and guidance from a cross section of specialists in
the fields of heritage and arts
Undertake practical tasks, independent research and attend events at
other cultural institutions
Receive a pass allowing them to visit other National Trust properties
for the duration of the scheme

Application is open to all 18-24 year olds who have an interest in
heritage, arts and culture, and is free to attend. 

The course will run from April 16-20 with regular follow up sessions.
The event will be held on Sunday August 19th at Ham House.

take part in the programme along with a CV to
