Hello,
I have used Dragon to transcribe, using exactly the method you describe. It isn't faster because, as you say, one is constantly correcting Dragon. But, it isnt slower than typing either (I type about 50 words/minute), using programs like F4. I view Dragon as a simple alternative to the monotony of typing.
