Amerigon, Inc. is looking for modeling engineers.
1. Use commercially-available FEA/CFD software, such as ANSYS, to
analyze thermal, thermal stress, and fluid flow problems related to the
design and optimization of thermoelectric devices.
2. Develop analytical and numerical models of thermoelectric and related
systems that include properties of construction materials and other
design factors that influence performance.
Five years industrial experience in FEA/CFD and/or MATLAB modeling of
thermal systems is desired. BS in science or engineering is required
and an advanced degree is highly desired. Experience using commercially
available FEA/CFD software is required. Programming experience,
preferably in a MATLAB environment, is also required. A working
knowledge of and experience with heat transfer and stress analysis is
required. Must demonstrate an ability to translate mathematical
relationships governing thermal, electrical, and mechanical systems
behavior into functional software.
A permanent authorization to work in the United States is required.
